Do you dream of getting started with knitting but need a safe place to start?
For the first time, Masker i Marsken invites you to Bubbles & Beginner Knitting: A cozy and informal course for those who look longingly at the many knitters and want to get started themselves.
Katrine and Aristea guide you quietly through the very basic techniques so that you get a good and safe start to your knitting adventure. Along the way we enjoy a cool glass of bubbles from Vibegaard.
The ticket also includes two beginner-friendly recipes that you can take home and work on after the workshop.
During the course, we will have a knitting break, where we will explore the exhibition area of the festival together. Here you can find inspiration, feel delicious materials and get a feel for everything that the knitting world has to offer.
Along the way, Katrine and Aristea share their knowledge about materials and equipment choices — e.g. which sticks are best suited for different projects, which yarn is suitable for what, and what you can choose if you think everything is scratchy.
It all takes place at a leisurely pace and with the opportunity to both learn something new and be inspired to explore more of the Masks in the Marsh universe.
Katrine and Aristea are part of Masks i Marsken and are both experienced knitters who have taught knitwear to both children and adults and follow closely what is happening in the knitting world.
